FOLIO 7: The Altar Project
The animated altar project is the first milestone in a sequence of animation options for the course.
Depending on whether the class chooses to work collaboratively, the altar is typically the first project after midterm.
A typical altar is approximately 15-30 seconds long and forms a seamless loop, giving the impression that it could play indefinitely.
Sometimes it works well, and we can’t see the loop.
Othertimes, students get an idea and they just run with it.
Regardless of the direction the altar takes, I always meet them where they are in critique.
