Nina: Process and Gallery
My general aesthetic is finding a balance between whimsical cuteness and wickedly eerie. I love the concept of light and dark duality, possibly because I find it within myself more than I let myself admit.
Since this is my first time using ZBrush, I'd like to take my existing knowledge with Photoshop and Maya and make what these other programs held me back with individually.
Ideally, I'd love to make something Portfolio worthy to upload to Behance or Artstation, but those are just beginners ambitions.
The largest ambition would be to make a point-and-click adventure game, but I'm not sure if that will be obtainable.
I plan to keep my 6 milestones split into 2/3 weeks depending on complexity.
1. Create a bust of myself with how I view my inner personality and duality expressed on the outside (Realistic / Stylized)
2. Working with lighting in Unity (Glow, Colorful, Rgb split)
3. Making my own tileable brushes in ZBrush for faster workflow
4. Exploring texturing in Substance Painter (Smart Materials + Stylized)
5. Creating and exporting polygroups for UV mapping
6. Landscape creation
